Internship - Global Simulation Department
Job Overview
The Global Simulation Department, under the umbrella of CTO organization, provides simulation technology capability to ensure feasibility, quality and robustness of our products.
As part of the Global Simulation team, you will closely collaborate with simulation, testing and process experts based across our global sites in Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan and US to develop and improve our simulation capabilities.

Main Responsibility
Your responsibilities entail one or more of the following: product development support, simulation models development and validation, material model development and validation, documentation of best simulation practices/workflows, training material development and training support.
Qualification
- Master student with Bachelor in mechanical engineering, applied Sciences or other equivalent education with focus on one of the areas mentioned below
- Strong theoretical understanding of solid mechanics and mechanics of materials
- Experience or interest experience in one or more of the following fields – Structural or Injection Moulding Simulation, Hand Calculations, Polymers and Rubber Materials, Test and validation activities, Other simulation areas like (Printed Circuit Boards or Noise)
- Independent thinker who is willing to discover new solutions off the beaten tracks
- Interest in technologies related to advanced high-volume manufacturing
- Strong intercultural and interdisciplinary communication skills in English (spoken/written)
- Positive, curious, diligent, reliable and target oriented team player
