Strategy Manager
Job Overview
As a key member of the CEO Office, the Strategy Manager will drive a variety of initiatives focused on organizational development. In this role, the incumbent will manage projects to improve the organizational design on a corporate, functional and departmental level, as well as to improve (cross-)functional processes. The role will be a sparring partner to members of the executive team (MMT) and the global department heads, working closely with CTO, COO and CQRO organizations.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Team (MMT) and department heads in the design of their organizations and manage the execution of changes
- Drive process improvement initiatives within and across functions on behalf of the respective functions
- Manage the preparation and facilitation of functional leadership workshops
- Project management of corporate strategy initiatives, from project scoping and planning, to monitoring and reporting on projects until completion
- Manage cross-functional project teams in the execution of strategic projects
- Creation of pitches and reports for Senior Management, Executive Team, and Board of Directors
Skills and Qualification
- 5 years of working experience in a corporate strategy or Chief of Staff position or in management consulting
- Experience needed within the MedTech industry, contract manufacturing and/or engineering environment
- Experience in organizational design and process improvements
- Strong change management capabilities
- Ability to building convincing narratives and delivering engaging presentations combined with skills in relationships across levels
- Ability to quickly assess complex problems, structure logically and solve with an analytical mindset
- Strong project execution skills with a focus on cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrating getting things done mentality, and ability to work independently in a flexible, fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or any other related field, Master’s degree or further education are considered a plus
- Fluency in English is required, German or any other languages are a plus
