SHL Medical has achieved EcoVadis Gold, improving from Silver and ranking among the top 5% of assessed companies for sustainability performance. The rating, based on performance across Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, recognizes the strength of our policies, actions, reporting, and company-wide impact. With an overall score of 80/100, the award reflects our continued commitment to responsible and sustainable growth.

We disclose our climate performance annually through CDP and currently hold a CDP score of C.

03 Climate target framework

SBTi

Near-term targets approved

The Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) provides a framework for companies to set greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets aligned with the latest climate science. It ensures that corporate climate action aligns with the Paris Agreement's goal of limiting global warming to well below 2°C, ideally 1.5°C. SHL Medical has committed to near-term approved targets.

04 Chain-of-custody certification

ISCC PLUS

3 sites certified

ISCC PLUS certification is a globally recognized chain-of-custody standard that ensures the sustainable sourcing and traceability of bio-based and circular materials. It verifies that certified feedstocks meet strict environmental, social, and greenhouse gas reduction criteria throughout the supply chain. As of today, three of our sites are ISCC PLUS certified.
