【Job overview】
Develop and design automated machinery and equipment, with the ability not only to professionally execute, prioritize, and allocate resources for tasks, but also to plan and lead projects, train or mentor peers and subordinates in appropriate ways, and actively develop skills in advanced technology.
【Responsibilities】
- Discuss specifications with the requester during the initial stage of equipment needs and requirements.
- Generate conceptual designs of mechanisms during the project evaluation stage.
- Collaborate with project managers, multi-functional engineering teams and work with vendors and contractors.
- Generate working prototypes for engineering tests and customer demonstration
- Conduct experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate machine designs
- Perform engineering calculations and conduct research to support design work
- Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget
- Create detail drawing and technical documentations.
- Analyze problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them.
- Assist machine installation and troubleshooting overseas
【Qualifications】
- Possess strong communication and mechanical design skills in teamwork.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably have at least 5 years of experience in the design of automatic manufacturing equipment.
- Proficient in using Solidworks 3D and 2D operations.
- Knowledge of pneumatic operating system and its schematic design
- Ability to run simulations and analyze test data
- Basic English proficiency (reading/writing and communication)
