Job Overview

The AI Engineer will develop, optimize, and deploy machine learning models to solve SHL Medical's business challenges. This role requires quickly understanding of our business processes and data for digital transformation. Expertise in AI, machine learning algorithms, and their applications is essential. The candidate will collaborate with various departments to integrate AI solutions, enhance data-driven decision-making, and drive innovation. This position is part of our growing data & analytics team at IT department.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms for various business processes at SHL Medical to support our digital transformation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI solutions.
• Optimize and scale AI models to ensure performance and accuracy.
• Conduct data analysis and preprocessing to prepare datasets for training and testing.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Main Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in AI, machine learning, and data science.
• Ability and Passion to deliver customer-focused
• Ability to work in a multinational team, located in Switzerland and Taiwan
• Familiarity with Azure AI Solutions, Azure Databricks
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and GenAI.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Language Skills

• Must have: fluent in English
• Nice to have: German, French, Mandarin
