Job Overview

Lead, direct, and control the day-to-day activities of all plants to achieve the short and medium-term financial and operating objectives set by the overall corporate business plan. Responsible for activities such as assembly, printing, molding, metal production, sewing, packing, maintenance, and new production introduction. According to production needs, effectively manage production activities and perform manufacturing, in order to achieve production target and continuously improved process efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible to follow all applicable SOPs and WIs at all the times.
• Responsible to follow the principle of GMP to the best of their ability at all times.
• A senior engineer (III) would not only execute job tasks below independently but has both improvement ability & coaching capability under certain supervision.

• Deliver and follow SHL Production Principles for colleagues to ensure everyone follows these principles (Exclude AMSD dept.  Tooling and STEC)
• According to SHL Production Principles to participate in improvement activities (Exclude AMSD dept., Tooling and STEC)
• Follow 56S Principles to complete tasks.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments according to improvement needs in order to better serve the whole SHL group.
• Lead and participate in machine, production technique or process improvement to enhance production efficiency.
• Build up and revise Procedures and Working instructions in the departments to ensure the standardization of production process.
• Develop production equipment and control the process quality to Improve production efficiency.
• Deliver on job trainings for newcomers to enhance their profession
• Maintain the completion of on-site operating documents
• Maintain the quality of validation and fully transfer job tasks to up-stream and down-stream departments.
• Collect and analyze production data for finding the root cause to improve production process.
• Spring Process Development-

Conduct first article, trial production including raw material handling, fixture and kit set up, spring process development, and peripheral equipment operation to achieve stable and robust spring conditions for mass production.

• FAAM (Fully Automated Assembly Machine) Process Development-

Conduct first article, trial production including raw material handling, fixture and kit set up, FAAM process development, and peripheral equipment operation to achieve stable and robust FAAM conditions for mass production.

• Assign above job tasks by staffing qualification / personal ability / organization needs.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

• 主導並參與設備、生產技術及製程改善以增進生產效率。
• 制定及修改部門內相關指導書，以確保生產流程標準化。
• 開發生產設備及控制工序品質以持續改善生產效率。
• 施予新進人員訓練以提高人員專業能力。
• 維持現場作業文件完整性。
• 維持確效品質與上、下游部門工作任務完整交接。
• 收集並分析相關生產資料進而找出根因以改善生產流程。
• 彈簧技術研發-

執行首件、試產活動包含原料處理、上、下治具與套件、彈簧成形條件研發及周圍設備操作以利量產階段達成穩定且健全的彈簧成形生產條件。

• 自動組裝技術研發-

執行首件、試產活動包含原料處理、上、下治具與套件、自動組裝條件研發及周圍設備操作以利量產階段達成穩定且健全的自動組裝生產條件。

• 依任用條件/個人能力/組織需求安排以上工作。
• 其他主管交辦任務。

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Technical / scientific degree at college / university level (mechanical, industrial, biomedical, chemical, system, material engineering and engineering management).
• At least 5 years of industry experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• 教育：學院/大學程度的技術/科學學位（機械、工業、生物醫學、化學、系統、材料工程和工程管理）。
• 至少5年製造或工程行業經驗。

Preferred Requirements

• Previous exposure to a highly regulated industry (e.g. medical, pharmaceutical) and knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. ISO13485, cGMP) is a plus.
• Equal ability to work effectively as an individual on one’s own initiative and as part of a team in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinarily environment.
• Analytical thinking and a high level of comprehension as well as problem solving skills
• Strong report writing and communication skills (written & verbal) in Mandarin and English is a plus
