SAP Business Analyst

Job Overview
The SAP Business Analyst will be a key member of the SHL Medical team supporting the start-up and continued success of the production operation at a newly constructed state-of-the-art facility located in North Charleston SC. The SAP Business Analyst will optimize SHL Medical’s business processes by analyzing current processes, collaborating with management on SAP integration, and overseeing the implementation of SAP solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Uses analytical skills to troubleshoot issues.
- Documenting SAP processes and preparing progress reports.
- Providing SAP end-user training and support.
- Resolves data integrity issues across the business, which occur within various modules within SAP (Master Data, MM, SD, PP, QM, and EWM).
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement.
- Seeks opportunities to improve processes.
- Developing and implementing improvement and process optimization projects within assigned area of responsibility.
- Take immediate action to eliminate significant risk and to propose actions to eliminate non-conformances or deviations.
- Collaborating with the Corp. Business Applications team to offer technical solutions and resolve issues.
Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, manufacturing, logistics or in a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an SAP business analyst in a similar industry.
- Solid knowledge of relevant business processes in PP and/or EAM and their integration with SAP systems.
- Possess the foresight to identify and remedy potential problems before they arise.
- Ability to acquire new knowledge, adapt to and contribute to fast moving environment.
- Possess strong organizational, analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document master data processes and procedures for all tasks.
- Superb collaboration and communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry will be a plus.
