Job Overview
This position is responsible for Purchase Requisition thru accurate and timely demand review and analyzing core replenishable and key components of upcoming and on-going projects and internal operation. Daily analysis of Supply, Demand, and Inventory to optimize inventory readiness and order fulfillment.
The role often partners with sales, order operation, application engineer, project team, production management, and procurement team.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage log of the component prices for customers’ RFQ inquired by AE.
- Analyze material demand and purchase lead time, and define the critical materials
- Track sales pipeline status and plan for the critical materials purchase for incoming orders
- Run SAP MRP timely and raise purchase requisitions daily. Prompt action for urgent demand.
- Identify all specification requirements of material requested (on ePDM), and create independent SAP Purchase Requisitions
- Intercompany PR creation
- Backup for project portfolio maintenance/SAP material master creation.
- Generate monthly performance reports to show the inventory readiness status.
- Cash flow analysis report for project purchase
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree. 3-year experience at least in procurement and/or material planning position for a manufacturer.
- Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown
- Computer literate, with advanced Excel skills/abilities and the ability to adapt to a variety of software applications.
- Good written and verbal communication in English
- Experience of SAP or ERP, and MRP
- An understanding of automation process and components would be advantageous
