Job Overview

The Senior FP&A Analyst will support Management and Cost Center owners with financial aspects. Acting as a Finance Business Partner, they will be proactively involved in daily operations to ensure long-term success. They will be a key contributor to STEC's financial reports, including but not limited to P&L, product margin, net working capital, and FCF, providing meaningful narratives and constructive suggestions to enhance management's understanding of the figures. The role includes conducting annual budget planning and rolling forecasts to provide timely financial status updates for decision-making. Additionally, the Senior FP&A Analyst will drive continuous improvement initiatives within STEC financial controlling by supporting Cost Center owners in all financial matters.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with STEC cost center owners and associated functions to facilitate STEC daily operation.
  • Actively participate in rolling forecasting and budget planning.
  • Analyze monthly performance by key drivers, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Provide detail and insightful analysis on revenue and gross margin by customer by product, OpEx, and operating income to support management in managing risk and opportunities, business review and decision making.
  • Prepare manufacturing variance analysis on actual production cost.
  • Manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and address slow-moving parts in collaboration with the PM.
  • Support preparation of presentations relating to analysis of Actuals, budget, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate in cooperation with other team members and departments on the Month-End-Closing process.
  • Performs other ad-hoc tasks as required.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to: Understanding business operations and strategy to align financial data with business goals and provide valuable insights and strong financial data analysis techniques with solid accounting knowledge
  • Confident to deal with all internal and external staff levels
  • Teamwork and Interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation skills and problem-solving oriented mindset
  • Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Ability to identify and escalate, as appropriate, potential project issues with recommendation for solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or Equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, oral and written are must.
  • Working Experience:3+ years of FP&A or cost controlling experience.
  • International collaboration experience preferred.
