Job Overview

Supply Chain Optimization Analyst is responsible to lead or support optimization projects in the Supply Chain. In the meanwhile, to understand processes, collect and sort data from the various sources, and then to transfer them into visual and useful information. This job requires both of teamwork and ability to work independently. Perfectly suit people who love to learn and share, desire to face challenges, and believe “There is always a better way”.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze data or procedures of entire supply chain to present in visual and effective ways or identify problematic areas and propose improvements
  • Lead a team or play as a partner with project team members to plan and implement improvements of business processes, which includes data integration or visualization, elimination of manual efforts, coordination of operational enhancement, etc.
  • Develop small tools to improve supply chain daily operations via VBA or Python
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to implement or improve information systems
  • Create BI reports to reveal business performance and operation effectiveness

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in SAP ERP and Power BI or other BI tools
  • 3 years of job experience in supply chain related roles, ideally with a focus on problem solving or continuous improvement
  • Good working knowledge of the principles of supply chain management and/or project management
  • Data visualization, communication skills and organizational ability are strongly desired
  • A self-starter with analytical mind and business acumen

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, familiar with VBA/Python/SQL will be a plus
  • Fluent in English communication, especially in written and verbal
